Once we finally got home, we quickly settled back into normal life. It was only a week before it was Labor Day Weekend and we had visitors. Jeffrey & Skiffington came up from DC to spend the weekend. On Saturday, we met Jason & Annie and their kids and Loni & her kids and JD & Jamie & Hailey at Longwood Gardens. The girls played in the fountains and a few of the gardens, but it wasn't long before we decided it was too hot and went home for a swim.
On Monday, we had the singles over for a pool party. We also had a family bet going on who would win in a race - JD or Jason. Here's the evidence:
We had a great weekend hanging out, swimming, playing games and enjoying each other's company. Here's to many more weekends exactly like this one!
