Meanwhile, back at the ranch, or more precisely, across the street and down a block, the missionaries who weren't NEW and being trained, or OLD and going home, met at the transfer building. It always looks to me like a riot is going on when we arrive at the transfer building. But then you see all these adorable missionaries, and every single one of them has a huge smile on their face! I wish that each of you could be me for just a day. It's the most incredible thing in the world to get to be around these young people. They are always so happy, trying to be obedient, and just doing the very best they can to serve the Lord and those around them. It's a tangible feeling of joy, and most of the time when I am with them, I just stand around soaking it all up and grinning like an idiot. I just love them! So we gather them all together, mix them up, shake them out, stir the pot, and send them home with new companions, to new areas, with new missionaries in leadership positions, and off they go, to work again. No wonder the sun was shining! How could it not?
