President Atkinson

For the past two years, the mission presidency of the Utah Salt Lake City Mission has included President Bruce Winn, 1st Counselor Don Atkinson, 2nd Counselor Hector Alba and Executive Secretary Jason Soulier. 

Those four men have worked together, trained together and loved each other.  They have served not only the missionaries, but all of the people who live in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission. 

 

 Recently, President and Sister Cathy Atkinson received new callings. They will be serving as president and matron of the Oaxaca Mexico Temple. We will miss both of them very much, but we know they will be a great blessing to the people in Mexico.



July 22, 2012 we had dinner together and said good-bye.



The biggest questions now are, who will take over the wearing of black leather and riding a motorcycle to the mission presidency meetings, and who will be the next sword-yeilding samurai?
