Wyoming Weekend

General Conference Weekend was Wyoming Weekend at the Winn's house. Since the Wyoming Zone had their Zone Conference scheduled for Friday, April 1st, followed by conference on Saturday and Sunday, we just had them all drive down from Wyoming and stay at our house for the weekend. It was actually a lot of fun - for us anyway! But then again, Bruce and I had a bed to sleep in and our own bathroom! The sixteen Wyoming Elders had six beds and two bathrooms between them, so there was a lot of floor sleeping and I can only guess a few cold showers, though not a soul complained. They were delightful house guests, and are welcome to return any time. There are always so many fun things to do at the mission home.
Elder Kemendics likes to just kick back and hang out.

Elder McNees spent his time contemplating the universe.

Elder Wilnauer tried to get some extra sleep. He was not successful.

Some Elders, who shall remain anonymous, rearranged the transfer board, hoping that President Winn wouldn't notice.

Elder Ahlstrom and Elder Bodily sat around telling jokes. The ever diligent Elder Byrd studied his scriptures.
Elder Hardwick practiced his heart-melting smile in front of

the mirror because he's going home in a matter of days, and

needs to get back into the dating scene.

Elder Grace tried to explain the theory of relativity to the rest

of the missionaries.

I am not sure they really understood.

In fact, it put Elder Rohbock to sleep.

And Elder Calderwood, too.

In the morning, they had breakfast and some serious gospel discussion.

They also discovered they brought the Wyoming weather with them.

It was a good time all around! Guess who got the last shower?

When they left, I went downstairs and could tell that Elder Grace had been here.

And Elder Lindquist.

The house was very quiet the rest of the week.

I never have liked quiet houses.
