Once we finally got our gaggle of new missionaries out of the MTC and up to Salt Lake, the real pandemonium started. We added our 200 other missionaries and shook well. Slicing, dicing, folding things in, then setting it all aside to rise....soon enough we had heard testimonies from the newest Elders and Sisters, everyone had signed the Defenders of Zion banner, President Winn had given us some counsel, we taught them all how you really sing Called to Serve, and then we divided everyone up into new companionships and districts and zones. About half of them went off to their new apartments in their new areas with their new companions, and the other half stayed around for lunch and assignments to train the freshmen. Transfer day is just about the wildest day ever, and its actually quite amazing that it usually doesn't turn out half bad. It's really rather fun!
