After the session, we continued south, getting to Richmond around 3 or 4. The BYU game had been TiVo'ed and the boys were all anxious to start watching it. Skiffington, Jeffrey & Kyle had driven down, and McKenzie's parents were also there. Everyone began watching the game, while Kenzie, Jamie & I made a run to Costco and the grocery store, where we purchased 9 dozen muffins and about 100 gallons of hot chocolate. We returned to find some hungry BYU fans, so we ordered pizza. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with everyone there.
Sunday, September 13, was a beautiful day! We all managed to arrive at church in time, although JD had dressed Hailey and her ruffle-bottom tights were on backwards. Luckily, Jamie found out and fixed them before any social awkwardness occured. I actually finished sewing Kenna's dress BEFORE Sacrament meeting! Kenna looked beautiful. The blessing was very special and Nate didn't even try to change her name. Although, the bishop did introduce her as McKenna, he apologized after she had been blessed.

After the blessing, we all went back to Nate & Kenz's house for brunch. Their good friends Tyler & Amy, who were married only the week before, came over, along with Nate's friend Jansen. There were also a number of Nate's coworkers who came over for the brunch. It was a lovely afternoon! Here are a few pictures of the day:

You have such adorable grandchildren! And I love the dress you made for Kenna.
