New Defenders of Zion: April 20, 2011

Some brand new Defenders of Zion:

Adding fresh, new faces to the mix - a few new missionaries to shake things up! This class had kind of a crazy first day in the field! First of all, the bus from the MTC arrived half an hour early. That is simply unacceptable! They've been late before. They've arrived as much as two hours late before, but early?? So, we have no pictures of them getting off the bus and breakfast was pretty late that day. About a half hour late, to be exact. Turns out it wouldn't have mattered much if I had been there on time anyway, since I took most of the pictures that day on a camera without a memory card in it! Turns out that my brain runs most days without a memory card in it! Oh well, welcome to the pandemonium that we call the Utah Salt Lake City Mission! You'll have a great time here, and we love you already! This freshman class includes: Elder Rex, Elder McDonald, Sister Reyes, Elder Naisausau and Elder Little.

Elder Rex is from California.

Elder Naisausau is from Fiji.

Elder Little is from England.

Elder McDonald is from Texas.

Sister Reyes is from Hawaii.

Elder Zhalkovsky is from Ukaraine. He actually joined us a couple of weeks ago.

Sister Zazueta is training Sister Reyes. I think they're going to be friends.

Elder Williams got a jump start on training Elder Zhalkivsky.

Elder McDonald is going to be trained by Elder Heninger.

Or maybe they will just wrestle.

If Elder Hunt can stop trying to get Elder Little to say movie quotes from Harry Potter in his really cool accent, and Elder Little can stop laughing long enough, one of them might train the other. Or they might just stand around all day, trying to look really intelligent and thoughtful.

Elder Link is going to train Elder Rex to be a really amazing missionary!
Elder Sheridan is going to train Elder Naisausau.
