Festival of the Tulips

Right after transfers on April 20th, in fact RIGHT after transfers on April 20th, some of the Winn clan started to gather for Kristi and David's wedding. Around midnight that night, Loni and Jamie arrived after flying all day long, with five very sleepy but amazingly well-behaved children. Alli is 7, Madison is 5, Taya is 2, Hailey is 2 and Ethan is just 8 months old. They left home at the crack of dawn, and arrived at the Salt Lake Airport at 3:00 a.m their time! After resting up a bit the next day, we trekked down to Thanksgiving Point to meet Kristi and David and Rob and Jolene on April 22nd, so that we could see the Festival of the Tulips with them. Well, we never did find Rob or David or Kristi or Jolene, but we sure had a good time anyway! President Winn may have 200 missionaries who listen to him, but these two two-year-olds have ideas of their own!
