The Mission Home

What exactly goes on in the mission home, anyway? Well, on this particular Thursday, Elder Byrd was training Elder Green on how to be an assistant. First important lesson: NEVER let Sister Winn take random pictures of you. Before you know it, she'll think up some outlandish idea for a blog post, and there you will be, the star of the Byrd Blogs! You know, Going Green or The Green Thumb, or It Ain't Easy Bein' Green. Just keep your face covered at all times, like this:

Elder Green is a slow learner. This is going to be fun!

The Green Machine?

Later in the day, Sister Winn decides to rearrange the furniture in the house. By that, she means for the missionaries to rearrange the furniture in the house. The 20,000 pound entertainment center from the upstairs family room needs to be in the downstairs family room. Bad timing for the elders who happened to stop by that day.

Why are Elder Tolworthy and Elder Green smiling so big?

Because Elder Byrd is carrying the whole thing by himself!

An assortment of children and missionaries occasionally stop by to visit and/or raid the refrigerator.

Yes. The mission home is pretty much the same as any other home the Winns have ever lived in. Except there are more missionaries here. Which only makes life better!
