Weather never stops the Utah Salt Lake City Missionaries though! They are always excited to be together, to feel the spirit that cannot resist being where there are many of them together. These young representatives of Jesus Christ, working together, willing to accept any assignment, any location, any companion - enthusiastic and eager to tackle each new transfer, to search for those people whom the Lord has prepared to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ, and receive the blessings in their lives that accompany the acts of faith required for conversion and baptism.
Everyone gathered in the chapel.
Our four new Elders signed the Defenders of Zion banner, and joined us singing
"Up! Awake, ye Defenders of Zion!"
Then it was outside, to see who the new Zone Leaders would be,
and find out who our new companions would be.

Dear Sister Winn,
ReplyDeleteMy son has always liked these acrobatic moves, since he practiced capoeira (Brazilian martial art) as a child.
I hope that hasn't broken any mission rules!
Thank you for your wonderful blog!
