Last time we had Zone Conference, we talked about putting on the whole armour of God. It was a great topic, uplifting and motivating! When we finished, we told the missionaries about a medallion that we had commissioned to be created to remind them of that zone conference. President Winn came up with this really great idea that the next time he toured the mission giving personal interviews to each of our 200 missionaries, I would simultaneously interview each one of them, asking them questions to see if they had been living the ideals we had challenged them to live. If they had, they would earn a medallion! It seemed like a good idea at the time. The first day we tried it, he interviewed missionaries for 5 hours. He completed talking to all 26 missionaries in one zone. I took a little longer. I interviewed missionaries for 7 hours. I talked to 14 missionaries. President Winn obviously forgot that I have a LOT more to talk about than he does. It's so much fun to sit and chat with the Elders and Sisters! I just hardly ever get to do that one on one! So we need to catch up, and I need to find out how things are going at home, and on their mission, and in their companionship....anyway, I'm not that fast, but I have way more fun. President Winn thought I might get better. At the next zone we visited, he stopped in my room to see how I was doing. "I have finished one district!" he proudly proclaimed. "I have finished one missionary!" I responded. He gave up. He finished all his interviews two weeks ago. I still have 67 more interviews to do. Maybe by the end of the summer...
