The missionaries in the Rose Park Zone

The Rose Park Zone in our mission set an absurdly high goal for themselves, then worked very hard together to reach it. Their reward, they decided, would be to get together on a P-Day and have scripture study with President Winn, then breakfast at the mission home. I don't know what they were thinking! My kids had scripture study and breakfast with President Winn every day of their lives and they called it torture! Ah, well, the life of a missionary is not that varied, and the littlest things delight these young adults. So scripture study and breakfast it was! First came the study.

Then came the breakfast.

After a while, some of the Elders went down to the Bat Cave to practice their ballet. What?!?! You didn't know that missionaries practiced ballet? Of course they do! Many of them are prima ballerinas! Of course we need one to play the piano, as ballet is always best practiced with a live classical music.
First, they helped each other stretch out those tight muscles.
Then they worked together on their arabesques.
Their pirouettes are improving greatly!

Last of all, we had some group hugs.

But after a thunderous roar of applause and appreciation from the audience, they came back for a stunning encore of the classical pas de deux danseuse adagio. Amazing!!
So this is what happens when my son finally gets brothers! I LOVE reading your blog and stalk it regularly...I definitely get my share of giggle points from it. Thanks for taking care of Elder Partridge for us. He dearly loves you, your husband, and serving in the UT SLC Mission!
