West Zone Breakfast

The amazing missionaries in the West Zone exceeded their goals for the month of February, and earned themselves a reward of scripture study and breakfast in the mission home! This is a concept that my children still have a very difficult time understanding. They don't ever put "reward" and "scripture study with dad" in the same sentence. They do like breakfast with mom, though! Anyway, the whole gang got up on P-Day and hustled themselves to our house by 7:30 AM for an hour of scripture study. Don't they look so adorable?!?! My kids also tell me that the Elders really aren't all that thrilled about being called adorable. I tell them that the Elders will just have to get over it.

First the opening hymn, accompanied by our talented Elder Freitas.
Then they studied.

And then it was time for breakfast!

Followed by some absurd game of jujitsu or some other such thing, which I have watched them play a million times, and still do not understand. But they seem to think it's hysterical, and so far, I've only sent one missionary to the doctor for an injury sustained while playing this game, so I guess it's better than Bunker Ball!

And some rowdy honky-tonk hymns on the piano...

...which was accompanying another game of karate in the basement...

...and a good time was had by all!
