Going Home - December 19, 2011

You may remember this group of Elders who went to the temple for their Trunky Temple Tuesday back in November.  We sent Elder Fifita, Elder Tupou, Elder Casperson, Elder Santos and Elder Thibaudeau home, but as for Elders Ross, Tubio, Gutierrez, Rosario, Link, Hoffmann and Judd, we made them go back out and work for another transfer!

On Monday, December 19th, they all showed up at the mission home, suitcases in hand, ready to go home.  Mostly, anyway.  Elder Ross stayed until Christmas Day.  Elder Tubio stayed until December 28th.  The other five left on December 20th.  But on the 19th, we partied!
Elder Tubio, practicing his killer look for the girls he is anticipating dating.
Elder Rosario, entering phone numbers into his new cell phone/little black book.
Elder Judd and Elder Calderwood.  (Who still has many transfers left.)
A rowdy game of Uno breaks out under the direction of President Winn.
 Complete with cheating!
The missionary who taught Elder Rosario's family back in Puerto Rico showed up for a visit, and brought his family.  It is an amazing thing to watch the gospel come full circle!

We are worried that once these Elders get out into the real world, it won't be long before they start a hard-core gang of bandits named the Defenders of Zion and all get carted off to prison for throwing cotton balls or something equally delinquent.  You just never know what will happen to such rebellious youth!  Fortunately, they are leaving the ring-leader in the mission, with another 18 months to serve.
