March 26th - A cold day at the park!

We had planned to take fifteen children to the park.  It seemed like a good idea.   When we woke up, the sun was shining, and from inside, looking out the big glass windows, it appeared to be a beautiful, warm, sunny spring day.  IT WASN"T!  IT WAS FREEZING!  Why we didn't abandon the plan the moment we walked out the door, I will never know.  But we didn't.  We braved the cold, and went to the park, where the children ran around in a state of complete blissfulness and the mothers all huddled on the park bench and whined about the cold.  We would have been horrible pioneers!
