When I Went to Utah....by Kenna

My name is Kenna Winn.  I am two and a half.  I live in Texas with my daddy and my mommy.  All of my grandmas and grandpas live in Utah, so the first week of April, I took my daddy and my mommy on an airplane and we went to Utah for a visit.  I played a lot with my Grandma Dawnene and Grandpa Brigham.  Then I got to go play with Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Bruce.  First we went to a farm.  Daddy lifted me up to see the horse, but it was too big and a little scary.

The goose was more my size, and I felt much more comfortable around him.
Especially since there was a fence between us.

I liked to see the piggies too, even though they were kind of stinky.
The mama pig was so lazy!
I got to throw rocks in the little stream that ran through the farm.
I'm a pretty good rock thrower!
Grandma Nancy helped me find rocks to throw.
She's a pretty good rock finder.
Daddy put me up on the seat so that I could drive
this really, really big tractor.
Then I fed the chickens the trail mix that grandma brought for us to feed the animals.  I picked out all the M&M's for the chickens and threw them first, because I KNOW that the M&M's are the best part of the trail mix, and I wanted to be extra nice to the chickens.  I shared my trail mix with another little boy so he could feed the chickens, but he just ate the trail mix.  His mama got a little worried when she saw him eating the chicken food.  She didn't know it was trail mix.
It was fun to play with grandma Nancy.  She really loves me a lot.
I found a little mouse on the steps of the playground.  He was there just for me.

At the mission home, grandpa Bruce played outside with me.  We played Nerf guns,  I got my darts all lined up in case I needed to defend the mission home from invaders.
Aunt Kristi gave me a haircut and then I was so so beautiful!
It snowed just for me one day, so that I could play in the snow this winter.  Grandma Nancy let me wear her one-size-fits-all Walmart special snowsuit that she keeps at the mission home in case any of her grandbabies is around when it snows.  She says I look adorable.
Mommy and daddy and me all catched snowflakes on our tongues.  It was the best!
Daddy showed me how to make and snow angel and then he lifted me up and showed it to me.

Grandma already thinks there is a little pink snow angel in her yard!
On Easter Sunday I had to find about a million colored eggs.
They were everywhere!
But I am a very good finder and I think I found them all.
Elder Purcell had to lift me up so that I could reach the one way up high.  I don't know how the Easter Bunny got it all the way up there!
I shared my Easter Barbie with grandpa Bruce.
I shared my Easter kisses with mommy.
Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Nancy love me so much!
I had a very fun time when I went to Utah.
