June 23, 2013 - Last Sunday Dinner in the Mission Home

Over the past year, we established a Sunday Dinner tradition with our returned missionaries who live close enough to stop by the mission home for dinner at 5:00.  It has been a wonderful blessing to us, so see these wonderful young people moving forward in their lives.  They have completed honorable missions and are moving on with school, careers, marriages and families.  We have had the opportunity to keep up with their lives, meet their friends, roommates and potential spouses, and watch them become the leaders of the next generation.  We have loved every minute of it!  We didn't ever really know if we would have three or thirty for dinner, so some weeks we played loaves and fishes, and some weeks we had Sunday Dinner leftovers every day for the rest of the week.  It didn't matter.  RM Sunday Dinners are just one of the many traditions that we will miss when we leave the Utah Salt Lake City Mission.
