And the winner is....
The week before Halloween, I was called in to judge a pumpkin carving contest in the South Zone. Elder Vanegas, the die-hard Texan, carved the Texas flag, nickname, motto and constitution into his gourd.
Elder Menendez settled for a remarkable carving of the Salt Lake City Temple.
Elder Bosley managed an amazing carving of the first vision. Whodathunk?
These two won the best companionship carvings.
But Sister Thompson won the contest hands down. She left her pumpkin home to do missionary work while she was having P-Day! Such dedication!
