January 2013 - Playing with Jenna and Bo

Having grandchildren in the mission home is a ton of fun!  We loved having Jenna and Bo visiting us for most of the month of January.  Oh yeah, we were glad that Alixa came, too!  Their home is in Texas, so the snow was a big treat, even though it got pretty old for the rest of us.  Besides the farm, we took them to the Church History Museum, to the mall to get Bo a haircut and ride the train, and to Jungle Jim's Playland.  Some days we were busy with mission stuff, so Lixi took them to the dinosaur museum and the aquarium without us.  On the days that we just stayed home, we had fun too.  They are both great kids - easy going and friendly to everyone!  We sure do love having them come to visit!

Sometimes Bo helps out by just picking up the fish,
and putting it on Jenna's "hook"
Dancing to the Mexican music.
Grandma and the llama decided to dance with us too!

Then we walked over to City Creek for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  We got to walk across this bridge where you can look out and see the train and all of downtown Salt Lake City.  It was way cool!

Bo - Chillin' at the Cheesecake Factory.  "Grandma gives me my binky and blanket any time I want it!"  Life doesn't get any better than that!

Jungle Jim's Playland.  A pretty cool place.

One day, we made Bo get a haircut.
 He was not too thrilled!
But he looked so handsome when it was finished!
And, he got to go for a ride on the train!
