When you are a mom/mission mom with 207+ kids, mother's day is quite the wonderful event! Besides getting nice cards, gifts,phone calls, emails and text messages from my own children, grandchildren and returned missionary children who were far away, my missionaries here in the mission went over the top making it a special day. I got a delicious homemade breakfast first thing in the morning, served up hot with lots of love.
I shared my breakfast with Elder Warczak, who was having a birthday.
The assistants had asked missionaries to text in their responses to the ultimate question:
They wrote down all the answers and decorated my door for me so that i could read them and smile for the next month! Seriously, it made me smile every single day!
Bruce and the assistants did all the work so that I just got to sit around all day.
Lots of missioonaries came over to visit me. Okay, okay. They actually came over to use our phone for calling their own mothers! But it sure was fun to get to see so many of them.
