Those of you who do not live here, in the Utah Salt Lake City Mission, have no idea what a wonderful place it is to be a missionary! Our Elders and Sisters tell us all the time about being in the Walmart and having someone buy their groceries for them, or being at a restaurant and having their check taken care of anonymously. The people who live here are about as sweet and kind to missionaries as anyone ever could be. The Good Samaritans ALL live here! One day at the chiropractor's office, the doctor asked me if we ever had missionaries come to our mission without quilts for their beds. I told him we do - all the time! He smiled, and said that was great, because his wife was a member of a quilting club and they had some quilts they wanted to give away. A few days later, these two wonderful Angels of our Heavenly Father showed up on my front porch with ten beautiful hand-made quilts. I have made patchwork quilts. I know how much time goes into one. I cannot believe that they just showed up and gave us these wonderful gifts. They wanted them to go to some missionaries who needed them. Thank you. To them, and the other quilt ladies, and all of the angels in Salt Lake City every day.
